Do I need pretreatment before the main water treatment system?
Yes, pretreatment is often strongly recommended or required.
We offer WTA Series pretreatment systems to remove heavy solids before recycling or biological treatment.
How much maintenance is required?
Maintenance requirements vary by system, but here is some basic info:
Routine inspection and cleaning of coalescing media and filters
Ensuring adequate aeration/oxygen delivery in biological systems
Checking and calibrating pH and ORP injection systems
Periodic pump inspection and access
Managing sludge or separated oil/solids disposal
Our systems are designed for easy operation and maintenance with low operating costs.
Can these systems help with regulatory compliance?
Yes. We are a provider of wastewater solutions designed to help clients meet environmental regulations for wash water discharge, reduce potable water use, and provide proper containment and treatment of runoff.
What is a “pit system” and why is it important?
A pit system is a customized, often fiberglass, sump or collection basin installed under or near the wash area. Untreated wash water drains into this pit before being pumped through pretreatment and the primary recycling or treatment equipment.
A properly designed pit system helps manage solids, gross debris, and ensures that treatment systems work more effectively and reliably.
We have provided expertise for water treatment equipment to the Sonoma, California area for several decades.
